Yes it is beautiful! When I tell people I moved from California they give me this puzzled, sometimes angry look and say something like, "big change there," or "why did you do that?" or some other apology for their weather. I actually think the seasons are beautiful! And to that they say, "wait til your first winter." Granted. But I am determined to enjoy it! Hope you're doing well, Liz, and thanks for the comment :)
When I lived in Kansas last year I literally got the same reaction as well as advice on how to drive in snow. The seasons are the thing I miss most. While I know I am blessed to live here in SD I actually do miss the Midwest.
